ROME–FLORENCE LINE: Infrastructure upgrade works from april 11 to april 12, 2026

The infrastructure Manager scheduled infrastructure upgrade works on the Rome-Florence line to enable the implementation of ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System), Europe’s most advanced train control and supervision system.

• From 00:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, to 03:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, service will be suspended on the Rovezzano - Settebagni section (Rome-Florence High-Speed line);
• From 02:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, to 05:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, service will be suspended on the Orte - Roma Tiburtina section (Rome-Florence Conventional line).

During the works, trains will not be able to run on the Rome-Florence high-speed line and on the conventional line.

As a result of these service interruptions, trains will experience schedule changes, route changes, or cancellations.
