Infrastructure interventions on the Campania–Puglia railway line

From 10 June to 30 June 2026, rail traffic on the lines between Campania and Puglia will be affected by technological and infrastructure upgrade works as part of the development of the new Naples–Bari high-speed railway line.

In particular, the section between Caserta and Foggia will be closed, with impacts also on High-Speed services connecting Rome, Milan, Turin and Bari.
As a result of these works, some Italo trains will be partially cancelled or operate on a shortened route.

AFFECTED TRAINS

• Italo 9928: cancelled between Bari Centrale and Caserta from 11 to 30 June 2026
• Italo 9958: cancelled between Benevento and Caserta from 10 to 30 June 2026
• Italo 9917: cancelled between Caserta and Benevento from 10 to 30 June 2026
• Italo 9939: cancelled between Caserta and Bari Centrale from 10 to 29 June 2026
