FLORENCE RAILWAY JUNCTION: RFI works from July 5th to 10th and from July 26th to 30th 2026 for the replacement of the "Ponte al Pino" overpass

The Infrastructure Manager has scheduled engineering work on the Florence rail junction to enable the replacement of the ‘Ponte al Pino’ overpass, a key junction along the Rome–Milan route.

Work will take place:

• From 11:00 p.m. on Sunday July 05 to 04:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10;
• From 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30. 

As a result of these service interruptions, trains will experience schedule changes, route changes, or cancellations.

Furthermore, some scheduled trains will stop at the Florence Campo di Marte station instead of Florence Santa Maria Novella station.
